Las Terrenas is a tourist city on the Samaná peninsula, in the northeastern part of the Dominican Republic. It is known for the central beach Las Terrenas. Other beaches are Bonita, Cosón, Moron, Las Ballenas. The Pueblo de los Pescadores strip, close to the sea, is lined with bars and restaurants, many of which have outdoor seating.
